i havent updated in awhile. oh well.
everything is going pretty good.
i have a half day tomorrow. but, i have ALOT of homework due on thursday.
so, that's kind of a bummer.

i really like limbeck.
they are really fun, upbeat, & they just write very catchy songs.
i also really like darkest hour.
& cartel.
& self against city.
& my american heart.
in fact, my american heart's cd releases in stores today.
and their cd release show is on friday, at the new horizon in mesa. and yes, we are playing!
and greeles estates is also playing, im so excited. you all should go.
cartel comes out next tuesday. i am so excited for this album. it is so amazing.

has anyone noticed that it starting to cool down in the mornings & nights?
it's so nice. im so happy to think that summer heat is finally going away.
umm. let's see. i dont know what to write in here. except that i am very bored.

wow. today was the last day of summer.
summer went by so quickly. it's crazy.
summer sucked at the beginning, but it got better.
the last month of summer was by far the best though.

so, i have to go to sleep early tonight, so im not all tired tomorrow.
waking up early sucks. but oh well, i'll get used to it.

the band finished a new song today, i cant wait to play it. it's really dancy & fun.
we have a show in pinetop on friday, im excited. but we have a big show on the 18th with daphne loves derby, this providence, sherwood & thirte fs. i hope alot of people come out to it.

im tired right now & i dont know why.

my brother bought this cd today, and it is insane. it's so good.

so, yesterday, i got my permit.
the lady that was working at the testing area at the dmv was a dummy.
she gave me a motorcycle test, and yes, i took it. and yes, i passed the motorcycle test. haha.
then i took the correct test & scored a 21/25.
so today, i've been driving around. i drove to the mall, and i've been driving around ahwatukee, just to get the hang of it.
i really like driving at night. it started raining, it wasnt bad driving in rain. it was kind of fun.
but, i hate people who dont use blinkers. oh yeah, i suck at pulling in parking spots with cars on both sides of the spot. i hope to drive some more tomorrow.

i love quiktrip. their taquito's are amazing. so is the whole store. it's so nice & clean. i wanna write a business letter to them, explaining why they should build a location in ahwatukee.
the quiktrip on warner & hardy didnt have a milkshake machine, so i asked the girl at the counter why they didnt have one, she said because that location is the one that gets the least business. but she said, they are getting more business lately, so coming september, they are getting a milkshake machine. & i will most likely be the first person to use that milkshake machine. really, i love quiktrip, i really do. hah.

i have a horrible headache, well, i did, this IBC cream soda i am drinking might be making it go away.

i might go to bed early tonight.

the show on tuesday was amazing.
hellogoodbye, the rocket summer, jamisonparker, & houston calls all did awesome. the first band, wires on fire was a bit strange though. hellogoodbye has a new song. i cant wait until they record it, it's amazing.

yesterday, i got the new number one gun cd & the new daphne loves derby cd. i think everyone should go buy both of those cd's. they are both amazing.
today, i woke up early, at about 7, to go get my books & schedule. hooray for top lockers!
i have block lunch this year, that should be interesting.
after that, i went to buffalo exchange, i got some sweet ezekiel shorts for like 13 bucks. quite a deal.
oh & i got this fly shirt. it's green, and on the front, it has a lady showing a colored boy how to read.
and at the top, it says "reading consultant", then underneath the picture, it says "reading helps you grow". heh, it's sweet. i like it.
anyways.
i think i might start waking up early for the rest of the summer. it's kinda fun cause you have a really long day. so it never feels wasted.
im studying for my permit test right now. im going to test for it tomorrow. then, im going get my hair cut. i might cut it alot shorter. but i doubt it. i hope the lady doesnt mess up it up.
im getting a new phone tomorrow, or monday. so my phone right now has no service. anyways, i got thrown in the pool today, and it got wet, so it's broken now. thank lord that im getting a new one within the new few days. i think i'll be keeping the same phone number. hopefully, i can block phone numbers with this one.
dan just IMed me & told me to listen to the edge, cause he said that we're gonna be played tonight. so. im listening right now for it. you should call the edge & request "june 2nd" by calling (602)260-1039. please!

today was one of those days where you feel like you have done so much in that day, that you forget that it's the same day as earlier. if that made any sense?
but anyways.
i woke up at around 7 this morning to go take my finals.
after a year & a half of fucking around in math, i have finally passed algebra 1-2.
so math isnt my thing?
but, i finally passed it. im really happy i finally got through it.
oh yeah, it's also like the first time i've seen my parents happy about my schoolwork.
i also passed us/az history. so i have that out of the way for next year. im gonna take alot of classes online during this next school year, so i will have some classes knocked out of the way of senior year as well.

i bought american pie 2, today. i love that movie, it's so funny.
i also got some of the new saosin songs last night. and they are amazing.
i saw war of the worlds today. that movie is just insane, i like it alot.
i got hungry howie's today, for like the millionth time this week. i love that place.
tomorrow is the hellogoodbye/the rocket summer/jamisonparker/houston calls show. i am so excited for it.
i've seen all the bands before, & they are all amazing live.

um, im really tired. so im gonna go watch tv or something.

why is every song made by relient k catchy?..seriously. their new cd is really good. i like it alot.

i saw charlie & the chocolate factory last night with jon, nikki, leanne, jake, & nick. it's such a good movie. well, i thought it was.
the weather today was amazing. i loved every bit of it. on my way over to jake's house, i was looking on the sides of the streets, there were so many trees ripped out of the ground, even lightpoles were torn out of the ground. it was insane. but it was yet so cool. i haven't seen anything like that since i lived in tennessee.

my big brother called me awhile ago & said that he heard our song on the edge 103.9 like 3 times today. im pretty excited about that. i just wanna hear it myself. hah.
tonight, i went to jakes. me, nick, jake, & jon all wrestled eachother. jake scratched my face. i beat up his 8 year old brother. i am awesome, i know.

i like really need to get my permit. no one will take me to go get it though. but, i do get my car tomorrow. which means, by the time my dad goes back to tennessee(1 week), i'll have to get my permit. i hope i pass it this time. haha. i am dumb.

i cant wait until movie night.

so. i found fruit stripe gum. i went through 2 packs of it in about 3 hours. i am awesome. and i am the happiest man alive, but not just cause that i finally got that gum. there's other reasons :)

but anyways, the scene aesthetic is amazing. i've probably said that a bunch of times, but oh well.

i am almost done with my math & history class for online summer school. it sucks. i cant wait until im done.

my week has been going pretty well. i'll write a little "re-cap" about it.
but it's going to be a long entry. read if you want.

monday: the band got to my house around 9:30am with everything they needed for the trip. timmy got to my house around 10 with the trailor and everything. we loaded the trailor with all our bags, sleeping bags, and all the equipment. we left around 10:30. we then had to go to big-o tires to get a spare tire for the trailor. we got out of there at about 11. we finally got out of phoenix city limits at about 11:45/12ish. We stopped at some gas station in the middle of nowhere. So, i went into the rest room, Mike came in behind me, im trying to pee with mike standing right behind me. then, this is the awkward part. a random lady walks in the bathroom(we're too careless to lock the door.) the lady see's me trying to pee, and mike standing behind me & she yells. awkward. well. we left there. got into camp verde at around 1, ate at a mcdonalds. we over heard this girl and her friends talking about one of them having to go to the geinecologist. eh, i cant spell. we ate lunch, then went into prescott. we went to prescott to check out the venue that we were playing on tuesday night. we left there around 2, got into flagstaff at about 4. walked around there for awhile. went to the venue at about 6:30 to load in. the show was supposed to start at 7, but, didnt start until 9:30. we played, and then we sat through another band, and then the rocket summer came on. they are amazing live. see them on the 26th at the modified. that's it for monday.

tuesday: woke up at about 9. went to mcdonalds for breakfast. they had neon green forks, it was amazing. we left flagstaff around 10:30. got into prescott at about 1. we sat in a parking lot in behind a circle k for like 6 & half hours. it sucked. we were so bored. so we had stick wars. everyone(slade, timmy, greg) teamed up on me. i whooped all of there asses. then we got bored of that. we watched live band videos on the laptop in the van. then, we had another stick war, this time, timmy & i against slade & greg. we dominated them. i own at stick wars. we hung around there for awhile. we finally found a hotel with open rooms. luckily, we found a really nice room, right in the middle of downtown prescott. when we got in the room, all of the guys took showers, one after another to conserve water. we flooded the bathroom, hahaha. we watched tv for awhile. then went to dinner. we had a show at like 10. we went to the show, we played the weirdest venue. it was a 21+ show, so it was very awkward. and we had to keep our amps low. very awkward. but fun. we left the show at like 11. went to the hotel room, watched tv for along time. until like 1. i fell asleep around 1. i got woken up by mike & jess at 3. they told me that they had met a forty-year old prostitute on the streets of downtown prescott, she had just gotten off "work". sick.

wednesday: we woke up at 7:45 because free breakfast ended at like 8, or something. everyone got up & went besides jess & i. i took a shower, while everyone was gone, cause they all had an order of who was taking showers. i got stuck in last, so, i was smart enough to stay behind and take the first shower. and then jess took one, we like used up all the hot water. since, i was the only one alone in the room(jess was in the shower), i watched a documentary on elephants, hahaha. everyone got back at like 9. they all got ready, and we left at about 10. we had a pretty long drive to pinetop from prescott. it was amazing to look out the window & see forest the whole there. the weather was very nice too. we kept messing with jess when she was sleeping. it was fun. oh yeah, we took her pillow & drew a penis on it and above it, it said "EAT A" & on the other side of the pillow, so when we would get cut off, or honked out, we would go up beside them and stick the pillow out at them. we got to pinetop at around 2 or something. checked in our hotel, and watched tv. then we went swimming. the jacuzzi felt so nice after playing shows the previous few nights. we went back up to our hotel room, showered, this time we didnt flood the bathroom. and then went to cruise around. we went to taco-bell. yum. and then we went to wal-mart. it was filled with people. it's like the pinetop hang out. we went to the band's house, and hung out there for awhile and discussed plans. we played at a big gated off field by their house. it was cool. except, the generators would work. so it took awhile to get them working. we didnt get them working until about 8:30. the first band played. the cops came. the kid that put on the show talked to them. the cops said that if they get more complaints, they would come back 7 arrest people, haha lame. we played at like 9. we played 3 songs, then in the 2nd verse of our 4th song, 5 bucks, we were stopped by the cops. i know, we are top-notch bad asses. it was really lame, but oh well, stuff happens. it started raining when ended. we hurried to get all our equipment into the trailor to keep it protected. we made quite some money on merch. it was a good night, besides the fact that the cops broke the show up, so the other bands didnt get to play. we went back to the hotel, watched date my mom & room raiders for awhile.

overall, it was a fun trip, stressful, but fun. i cant wait to go back out on the road.
im hungry, so im going to scavenge for food around my house.

im so grateful for the band that i am in & all the people we have worked with and who are working with us. but mostly. all of the kids that come to our shows and support us. they are the reason we are where we are at today & where we are going with the band.
but anways. thanks to everyone who came last night & made our last show of the summer in the area crazy. we'll be back playing shows in the area in august. but for now, it's time to play in peoria, glendale, prescott, flagstaff & tuscon.
i finished my american history class today. and im happy.
but im gonna go eat or something cause that's all i do now. haha.

we have a show in peoria tomorrow. and im really excited.
we have a show sunday. and we need everyone there because it is our last show in this area for the summer(see flyer below for details).
it rained today. greg, slade & i walked home in the rain & i loved it.
i want some tea right now. but i drank the rest of it. haha.

sherwood is amazing. if you have the chance to see them live, go. they are so amazing live & on recording.
theyre coming back august 18th with daphne loves derby & this providence. that's going to be a such a good show.
e.w.i. is also pretty good live too. they kinda are creepy, but a good band.
on another note: this is the second time i've woken up before 9 o'clock this summer.
the band has a show coming up, we just dont know when it is. like june 22nd or 25th. or something. you should go.
so, me & greg practically live at neckbeard's. yes, we are cool.
we got practice today, so me & greg gotta go unload all the stuff out of the trailor and set it all up in my garage. so, i'll update next week or something.

the show last night was amazing.
jamison parker was just...i dont know. amazing. that's it. they are one of my favorite bands along with mae.
i still remember when i wanted to go see jamisonparker play with homegrown at the bash on ash on december 15, 2003. im so lame for remembering the date. but yeah, i finally got to see them live. and they we're nothing short of amazing.
the academy is...was really energetic. i liked them.
& mae. they put on such a good live show. i liked how they played a little bit of their old stuff too.
we have a show on friday with this day and age & june. you should go. it's gonna be a fun one.

geez. my sophomore year went by so quickly. it was a good year.
the new jamison parker album is effing amazing.
oh, and. i heard some of the new early november stuff. and holy...it is going be probably one of the most anticipated albums of 2005, for sure. i cant wait until october 25th when that cd comes out.
point blank & paint the sky red have a show on saturday at the ahwatukee ymca. you should go. and vote for either of those two bands. oh yeah. it's like love is playing that show. they are one band you would want to see live. they are freakin' amazing live.
i watched the story of the year dvd at ryan's house last night. that band has probably the most talented performers ever. they put on such a good live show, and they are so energetic.
i had almond joys & dr pepper for breakfast..hahaha. i still need to go buy my box of 200 otter pops from costco. im gonna go take a shower & figure out something to do today.

thank you to every single person who stepped into neckbeard's saturday night for our cd release. we had such an amazing time & you all were just simply insane. you guys are amazing. i cannot thank you enough for coming & supporting us. it means so much to our band.
...well. one day left of school. and i am so excited.
i really want to get snack pack popsicles that icky nikki told me about. and they sound like yumm.
my good friends point blank have a show on saturday at the ahwatukee ymca. it's a battle of the bands with the evade, paint the sky red & it's like love. you all should go. oh yeah. my good friend jonathan marquez is filling in on bass for point blank so go and make him feel cool.
we're playing at a party on thursday nighht & im really excited. after saturday's show..it makes me want to just play sbows everynight...no matter how sore & tired i get. i wanna play every night. and i hope one day, i can play shows every night for a month to three months straight. the stage is one place i feel relaxed & "at home".
my finals went pretty well today. fairly easy.
im gonna go and eat.

the new waking ashland cd is really good. it's one of those cd's that you wont like at first but then it grows onto you.
the cd release is in 6 days!!! you better go. every single one of you reading this.
im getting into alot of 80's stuff lately. like rod stewart. he's the man.
my livejournal is pointless because most people use theirs to let out their feelings or to write about what they did over the weekend. but i use mine to write random stuff in it?
i love listening to bands that you used to listen to like two years ago. like yesterday, i listening to my all american rejects cd.

we're(t101) are getting all our cd's and shit for the cd release on monday. im so excited for the cd release.
we're playing at aprende middle school next week. it'll be cool to be playing for a different crowd for a change.
fiji water & monster energy drinks own me. i love them both.

me & greg started putting together a new song for the band on tuesday & i am nothing more than excited to hear the finished song with everything. if you go to the cd release show(may 21st), you'll be able to hear it. so go!

i am now the proud owner of a 2000 ford taurus.
...but i dont even have a permit. so therefore, i am being forced to get my permit sometime this week.
but i am very excited & i am very excited to be driving in about five or six months.
i started reading 'the catcher in the rye' today. it's really good.
i think the goo goo dolls are quite an amazing band. wouldnt you agree?
there's only about seventeen days left of school for us. i cannot wait for summer. i cant wait to spend my days waking up and doing the same thing everday. which usually consists of having band practice at my house for about an hour and a half, then jumping off my neighbor's balcony into her pool when she's not home, then going to burger king everyday and then to jess' to play pool all night. i am just really looking forward to spending alot fun times with my closest friends this summer. you know who you are.
but im gonna get going and try finish eating that gallon of strawberry swirl ice cream i bought the other day. yumm. cheers.

thank you to everyone who came out last night.
all the bands did great.
self against city...simply put. they were amazing.
houston calls were really good too.
adelphi's new stuff is really good. they have a more classic rock sound now.
i didnt get too catch much of lydia. but i heard their new song. which is really good.

everything's been going pretty good. i dont have to take summer school which makes me very happy.
but. i do have to take online classes. but it's very easy so far.
has anyone seen the new starting line video for 'bedroom talk'? you should. tom's wearing a cool sweater & kenny falls in the dirt. it's sweet.
oh yeah. the new random ent shirts are saweeet.
